Verb Tense Mood Voice

Now in addition to the SUBJECT-VERB Agreement, verbs have other three aspect that must be taken care in the GMAT sentence correction that is TENSE , MOOD and VOICE.
What is verb Tense and how to identify them?
Verb tense indicates when the action was taken place. Quickly identify the verb ( Action) and the time period ( Tense). Even though verb (action) is easily identify but in GMAT the sentences are made tough by incorporating more than one action.
There are basically two MOODS that are tested in the GMAT Examination.
- Indicative Mood
- Subjunctive Mood
Now the basic question is what and how to find these MOODS. Here it is done. Verbs in the Indicative Moods deal with the real events. Verbs in the Subjunctive Mood deals with events that may not be TRUE.
Finally, there are two voices that are tested in the GMAT Exam
- Active Voice
- Passive Voice
Overview of both the voices
Active Voice: Under this, the subject of the sentence perform the ACTION
Passive Voice: Under this, the ACTION is performed on the subject ( on someone or something else).
